INTRODUCTION
Zimm (Verticillium Lecanii an entompathogenic fungus, kills insects pest by a parasitic mechanism. It infects insects through contact, germinates and penetrates their cuticile. Once inside the fungus grows, multiplies and consumes the insect, eventually leading to their death.

Suspend 250 gms of Verticillium Lecanii 1.15% wp in 550 ltr of water. Spray uniformily using foliar spray at 15 days interval on appearance of pest infestation on citrus (Acid lime) plants over one hectare of land.
The spores (conidia) of verticillium Lecanii land on the insect outside and adhere to it. The spores germinate that help them penetrate in the insect cutcile. After the host dies the fungus continues to grow & sporulate inside the dead body.
